Cookson Communications Welcomes Three New Team Members

MANCHESTER, NH (August 16, 2022) โ€“ Cookson Communications โ€“ a visibility-focused communications agency with expertise in public relations, social media, marketing, design and branding โ€“ recently added three members to its growing team. Tricia Houghton was hired as a marketing assistant, Emma Pedersen is a new design and digital specialist and Skylar Curtis is a junior graphic designer.

โ€œWe are excited to welcome Trish, Emma and Skylar to our team. Their skills and energy will allow us to best serve the diverse needs of our expanding client base,โ€ said Matt Cookson, president and CEO of Cookson Communications.

Tricia Houghton most recently served as a program assistant with New Hampshire Homeland Security and Emergency Management and has substantial experience in higher education administration. Emma Pedersen is a recent graduate of Roger Williams University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in graphic design communication. Skylar Curtis earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design from Keene State College and most recently worked as a marketing and pre-press assistant at Amherst Label and as a freelance graphic designer.

Directions

  1. Gather ingredients, then open InDesign (or layout software of choice) to prepare your pieces.

  2. Arrange content across pages, blending white space and hierarchy; proofread carefully between each revision and strain out typos.

  3. Simmer typography, colors and placement until consistent and cohesive.

  4. Top with QR codes, sample test prints on paper stock and serve hot off the press!
